Q: When can I enter for contest? 
The application process opens on November, 1 2021 and closes December 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Q: Is there a minimum Grade Point Average requirement?
All applicants must have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Q: Is there a fee to apply?
No, there are no fees to apply for the  Hardee's® $5,000 College Fund Contest.

Q: Are paper entries accepted?
All entries must be completed online. No paper entries will be accepted.

Q: What does the college fund pay for?
The funds must be applied toward "qualified education expenses", which are expenses for tuition and fees required to enroll at or attend an eligible educational institution, and course related expenses, such as fees, books, supplies and equipment that are required for the courses at the eligible educational institution. 

Q: Will I receive the $5,000 check?
No. The $5,000 check will be made payable by the sponsor directly to the Kentucky college or university, vocational or technical school identified in the winner's entry after the sponsor performs the enrollment verification and GPA verification.

Open only to legal residents of the following Kentucky state counties: Anderson, Bath, Bourbon, Boyle, Breathitt, Casey, Clark, Clay, Estill, Fayette, Fleming, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jackson, Jessamine, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lee, Lincoln, Madison, Magoffin, Menifee, Mercer, Montgomery, Morgan, Nicholas, Owsley, Perry, Powell, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Rowan, Russell, Scott, Wayne, Whitley, Wolfe, or Woodford (excluding residents of all other counties in Kentucky and all other 49 States of the United States, including the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico) 17 or older, with a minimum 2.5 GPA at current educational institution, and by 12/31/21 are candidate for degree at a KY college, university or eligible educational institution.  Permission from parent/legal guardian required for individuals under age of majority.  See Official Rules.  Winner selected based on the entry that best describes exemplary community service, commitment to academic excellence, creativity and originality, and content quality.
